Report: Delegation of Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information(MCIT) visited UEC

The delegate of MCIT(Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information) visited our campus on October 18, 2013. One of the seven members in the delegate was Dr. Rudi Lumanto, the Senior Advisor to the Minister of MCIT and a UEC alumni who had completed his doctorate study at the Graduate School of Information Systems of UEC.

UEC and the ICT Research and HR Development Agency of MCIT have been under the International Exchange Agreement since 2012, and the two parties have been enjoying their exchange programs.

During the meeting between the delegate and relevant UEC officials including Dr. Fukuda, the General Director of Center for International Programs and Exchange, it was reaffirmed that both parties will continuingly endeavor to maintain and improve current exchange programs for enrollment of Indonesian students to UEC and acceptance of UEC internship students by MCIT. The delegate made a courtesy call on Dr. Kajitani, UEC President, followed by the meeting with Indonesian students currently enrolled at UEC under the MCIT scholarship program as well as UEC students who had participated the internship program at MCIT. The delegate also enjoyed a campus tour featuring UEC Communication Museum and other campus facilities.
