Report:Delegation of Industrial Technology Research Institute (Taiwan) visits UEC

On January 19th, 2017, UEC received four visitors from Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), a nonprofit R&D organization focused on applied research and technical services for evolving global industries in Taiwan, Dr. Horng-Guo Do, Division Director of Video and Multimedia Communication Technology Division, Information and Communications Research Laboratories (ICRL), Dr. Ming-Chien Tseng, Manager of ICRL, Mr. Wan-Yu Yang, Staff of ITRI Japan Office (IJO), Mr. Jason Shi, Assistant Manager of IJO. The most advanced science and technologies in the special field of information and communications were discussed by the visitors and relevant UEC Professors toward the expected R&D collaborations in the field. Their visit was organized as the second mission of ITRI to UEC since the first mission of ten ITRI members visited UEC on December 1st, 2016. Research topics to be evolved in collaboration were explored through their opinion exchange at some selected Laboratories in UEC.
