On April 6, 2018, Dr. Jiang Yufeng, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Harbin University of Science and Technology (HUST), Mr. Chen Gang, Chairman of Alumni of HUST in Japan and his delegation group visited the University of Electro-Communications.

Dr. Nakano and Dr. Tanaka, the Members of the Board of Directors of UEC, Prof. Kirimoto and Asst. Prof. Sun of UEC welcomed the delegation group, and they had active discussion to explore research collaboration and student exchange between the two universities.
The delegation group was taken on a tour of the university library and visited Asst. Prof. Sun's Lab after the meeting.

HUST was founded in 1995 as a result of the integration of Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Electrical Engineering, and Harbin Higher Industrial Vocational College. HUST has schools in the areas of science and engineering, economy, management, laws, etc.
