Report:The first international workshop MIPT (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow, Russia) - UEC was held in Moscow

MIPT, one of our international partner institutions, and UEC held a joint workshop at the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow from 2013/10/30 to 11/1. Professor Takashi Fukuda, a member of board directors, 6 other professors and 12 graduate students from UEC attended the workshop, and they made presentations. Variety of topics in Atomic, Molecular, Optical Physics and related fields were discussed.

During the workshop, Dr. Bulizhenkov, an MIPT rectorate advisor, Professor Tolstihina, Professor Savinov, Professor Kolachevsky, and UEC working group members also exchanged ideas of future cooperation between MIPT and UEC such as establishing a joint degree program.
