Report: President of Harbin Engineering University (China) visited UEC.

On 27 October, 5 members, including President Professor LIU Zhigang, of Harbin Engineering University (China) which is our overseas partner university, visited UEC.

Firstly, UEC vice president and the member of the Board of Directors, Professor Kazushi NAKANO gave them the welcome address, and then they had a talk with Professor Hamano of Research Promotion Center in a friendly atmosphere to exchange the opinions freely to promote the future interaction between two universities. After the meeting, they visited PictLab to see its facility, including 3D printers for the graduate students, and Professor Yokoi’s laboratory (Department of Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Systems) in which has been doing research on EMG Prosthetic Hand etc. They asked the facility and laboratory members various questions curiously while they were observing them with interest.
We are hopeful for further interaction between UEC and Harbin Engineering University on this visiting occasion.
