Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, President of Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam (REV) visits UEC

Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Binh visited UEC on March 10, 2015. Prof. Binh has served one of eleven member universities and schools under Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), called the VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET) as the Rector until September 2014, then he became the Director of VNU International Francophone Institute (VNU-IFI). In 2014, Prof. Binh was also appointed as the Chairman of Radio and Electronics Association of Vietnam (REV). He has taken initiatives in global academic activities and contributed as a VIP to the academic society in Vietnam.
In his visit to UEC, he had the courtesy call to the President, Prof. Takashi Fukuda, discussed the expected academic exchange and collaborations in both education and research fields (※1, ※2). He also had a campus tour to UEC Communication Museum exhibiting quite many valuable equipment and devices on the history of electronics and ICT, and visited Division of Advanced Research Facilities of Coordinated Center for UEC Research Facilities (※.3), where Vietnamese scholar, Miss Than Hong Phuc of Nozaki Laboratory and another Vietnamese scholar, Mr. Le Tien Trien of Yamao Laboratory introduced their research activities in UEC and Prof. Binh had discussions with the students.
Prof. Binh referred to the further preferable enhancement of academic activities and mutual better understandings of both countries on the occasion of his visit.
