On May 19, 2025, the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) and Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) signed an Agreement to expand activities of Collaborative Office Hub between the two institutions. On the same day, 10 members from CAS and SIAT, including Prof. Ding Chibiao, Vice President of CAS, Prof. LIU Chenli, President of SIAT, visited UEC for the signing ceremony. Following a welcome speech by UEC President Tano and remarks by Prof. Ding and Prof. Liu, they proceeded to sign the agreement. After the signing ceremony, introductions of each institution as well as presentations on their respective activities and research were made.
The completion of this agreement is expected to strengthen exchanges between researchers and students. This will improve education and research quality while advancing the university's international growth.
