On April 1, 2026, the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) concluded a university-wide exchange agreement with École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon) in France.
With roots dating back to its predecessor founded in 1880, ENS Lyon is a prestigious national elite institution, ranked as one of the top "Grandes Écoles"--France's unique system of higher education. It is globally renowned for its excellence, particularly in the fields of fundamental and computer sciences, and has produced numerous internationally acclaimed scholars.
The conclusion of this agreement is built upon a solid foundation of long-standing collaboration between researchers from both universities, as well as a successful track record of hosting student.
Moving forward, this agreement will further strengthen the mutual exchange of students and revitalize the mobility of faculty and staff. It is expected to deepen international research collaboration and contribute to the continued advancement of educational and research activities at both universities.
