On May 15, 2026, The University of Electro-Communications (UEC) concluded an International Exchange Agreement and a Student Exchange Memorandum with Srikrishna College in India.
Srikrishna College is a public institution affiliated with the University of Kalyani, located in West Bengal, India, and is recognized for its high educational standards across a wide range of academic fields, including science, social sciences, and commerce.
This agreement builds upon the active academic exchanges that have already been taking place between the two institutions. In February 2026, UEC faculty members and staff visited Srikrishna College and held discussions on research collaboration, student exchange, inter-laboratory activities, and internship opportunities. Researchers and students from Srikrishna College also visited UEC to participate in the Japan-India Academic Exchange Kickoff Symposium and the international conference URSI-JRSM 2026, while engaging in collaborative research activities. In addition, a UEC student participated in an inter-laboratory exchange program at Srikrishna College, further strengthening the relationship between the two universities.
Through this agreement and student exchange memorandum, both universities aim to further expand collaborative research and student exchange activities across the institution, while deepening international cooperation in both education and research. Continued academic exchange with India is also expected to enhance students' global perspectives, intercultural understanding, and ability to thrive in an international environment.
