On July 20, 2026, The University of Electro-Communications (UEC) concluded an Agreement for Academic Exchange and Cooperation with the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC), Peru.
Founded in 1994, UPC is one of Peru's leading private universities, with approximately 70,000 students. The university offers education and research across a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, business, and health sciences, and actively promotes international collaboration through partnerships with educational institutions in more than 40 countries.
The agreement was initiated following a visit to UEC by a faculty member of UPC who is also a UEC alumnus, and was concluded with the aim of further developing educational and research collaboration in South America.
Through this agreement, UEC and UPC are expected to promote academic and research exchanges, expand their international network, and further strengthen collaboration in education and research.
