A paper presented at the 2023 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics (AIM), held in Seattle, USA, from June 27 to July 1, 2023, has received the Georgia Researcher Award at the 49th Meeting of the Japanese Researchers in Georgia (JRGA).
The Japanese Researchers in Georgia (JRGA) is a professional network for Japanese researchers, healthcare professionals, students, and businesspersons affiliated with universities, research institutions, medical centers, and industries in Georgia. Its mission is to foster academic exchange, collaboration, and mutual support to enhance the quality of research, education, and technological innovation. The association organizes seminars and networking events approximately once every one to two months.
This award honors promising Japanese scientists with connections to the state of Georgia. It was established in 2021 by the Japanese Researchers in Georgia (JRGA), co-hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia, and supported by the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta. This year marks the fourth presentation of the award, and two recipients were selected.
