On November 29, 2023, Dr. Suvit Saetia, the President of King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and his delegation group visited the University of Electro-Communications (UEC). During the visit, discussions were held between President Saetia and President Tano, along with their respective delegations, regarding the enhancement of mutual exchange initiatives. Following these discussions, the delegation proceeded to tour the laboratory of Associate Professor Kitsuwan, specializing in cutting-edge research on new-generation network technology.

Founded in 1960, KMUTT stands as one of Thailand's premier educational and research institutions. Initially established as a research university, it serves as a pivotal hub for education and industry, fostering the development of numerous exceptional engineering professionals. Since signing the cooperation agreement in 2005, KMUTT and UEC have actively facilitated the exchange of researchers and students over an extended period.

Expectations are high for the continued growth of educational and research collaboration between the two universities in the future.
