1. South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation（SAARC）has eight member-countries（Afghanistan, Bangladesh,Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri-Lanka）.There are a number of foreign students and faculty members who visit UEC every year from these countries.The ties between UEC and SAARC may increase many folds by mutual interactions through the UEC-SAARC Symposium on Emerging Technologies.
2. The conference brings together the experts and competent students from UEC and SAARC countries on a platform.
3. The conference opens up areas of cooperation and collaboration for UEC in areas of mutual interests with SAARC countries.
4. In addition, the conference is a gateway for the capable students and experts from SAARC countries to train themselves in the world class scientific infrastructure at UEC.
