This memorial first conference is launched within the framework of the course program of Joint Doctoral Program for Sustainability Research（JDPSR）, a multidisciplinary research program jointly offered by Tokyo University of Foreign Studies（TUFS）, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology（TUAT）and The University of Electro-Communications (UEC).
We are pleased to take this opportunity to have enthusiastic discussions on various topics from a sustainability perspective.
