UEC ASEAN Research and Education Center

On the basis of the collaboration with our overseas partner university, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) which is one of leading research institutions in Thailand, the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) launched UEC ASEAN Research and Education Center (UAREC) in KUMTT Learning Square (KLS) to pursue the following purposes; promote the collaboration with universities and companies in Thailand and other ASEAN countries, support to develop research, cultivate high-skilled personnel as well as encourage industrial-academia collaboration. We were the first Japanese university which launched own center in KMUTT. After UAREC has moved to KMUTT KX for Innovation Center in June 2015, we further promote to support the collaboration with the universities and companies in ASEAN countries.
