The Institute for Advanced Science opened its doors on April 1, 2015, with the goal of establishing a central research center that could advance modern photon quantum science. While the institute strategically promotes cutting-edge research in the field of photon quantum science, we also continue to emphasize strong connections with traditional fields of science such as physics, chemistry and biology. At the same time, we focus on building an international educational system in collaboration with other central research centers overseas as a way to foster the next generation of researchers in a global environment.
