This talk will summarize some of our recent results on novel meso-fabrication techniques and the resultantfunctionalities and applications of micro/nano polymeric and carbon structures in environmental remediation, energystorage devices and MEMS. The major emphasis is to produce functional structures and interfaces by self-organizationwith applications that range from microfluidics, micro-batteries, tissue scaffolds to the bulk-nano materials for opticaland functional coatings, bio-mimetic adhesives, super-wetting and structural colors.
